After too many years serving as a lawman in Dodge City, Kansas, watching his son die during a bank robbery and his wife succumb to cancer, Ben Hull decided it was time to hang up his badge and spend the remainder of his years with his daughter, Addie and her family.

Gideon Hogue tried everything to get Mrs. Anderson to sell, and when that didn't work, he hired gunmen to scare her off. Unfortunately for him, he was about to find out that he'd chosen the wrong ranch to take over. Even though he'd promised his beloved wife he'd steer clear of violence, Ben Hull quickly realized that in order to save his daughter, grandchildren and their home, he'd have to do what he had done best as a lawman and serve up his own brand of justice to Gideon Hogue.
