La Follette's Autobiography V1: A Personal Narrative Of Political Experiences is a book written by Robert M. La Follette, an American politician who served as a United States Senator from Wisconsin from 1906 to 1925. The book is a detailed account of La Follette's life and political career, covering his early years in Wisconsin, his time as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, and his eventual election to the United States Senate. Throughout the book, La Follette provides insight into his political philosophy, which was based on the principles of progressivism and a belief in the power of the people to effect change in government. He also discusses his efforts to reform the political system, including his support for direct primaries, the initiative and referendum, and other measures designed to increase citizen participation in government.La Follette's Autobiography V1: A Personal Narrative Of Political Experiences is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of American politics and the progressive movement. It provides a firsthand account of one of the most important political figures of the early 20th century and offers a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing American democracy during that time. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
