I wrote Kiss the Baby's for Me around the actual 1917-1919 letters, my grandfather, James (Gabe) Traynor, wrote
to my grandmother, Jessie, when he was in WW1. This is a historical fiction, however, the letters are word
for word transcribed. It's a book about the first war and how one country family was affected by it.

The letters begin at Camp Dix, NJ. From there, to Camp Devens, Mass., Somewhere in England, Somewhere in France and end at Fort Meade, Maryland. Two significant letters are included that come from another serviceman in France.
