RB Morris is a celebrated poet and a recording artist. He is known for mixing poetry and spoken-word with music and is a renowned singer-songwriter who tours the US and Europe. Lucinda Williams has called him the greatest unknown songwriter in the country. And Steve Earle says RB Morris is the reason I started writing poetry. He recorded an album on John Prine's Oh Boy! Records. RB was writer in residence at the University of Tennessee from 2004-2008, and was inducted into the East Tennessee Writers Hall of Fame in 2009.
