Even though I was excited about my new journey, moving to L.A. meant that I would not be able to see my parents, best friends, and friends as often as I would like. The plan was that I would fly back to Houston for Thanks-giving, Christmas, and summer break. For the past few years, the plan has worked out extremely well. As Kelly, Kit, and I pulled into a parking spot at LAX, I could not help but feel excited. I was about to be back home with my parents, best friends, and friends!
