십자가 역시 단순한 종교 상징이 아니다.
십자가는 인간의 실패를 덮는 장식물이 아니라 방향이 전환되는 결정적 사건이다.
복음은 감정적 위로나 종교적 위안이 아니라, 길을 잃은 인간에게 다시 생명으로 돌아올 길이 열렸다는 선언이다.
