The Knights of Excelter team up with Lockharst scientists to unravel the meaning of obscure coded equations. This leads to the opening of a portal into another dimension, an alien realm where Brandon Chadler suspects his father, an archaeologist, to have gone missing years ago. Mira's dream visions, Irish folklore of the Gomtrell community, and some ancient clay tablets offer clues that reveal substantial evidence supporting Allen Chadler's disappearance into this other dimensional realm. Follow the adventures of Captain Chadler, and his search team, as they explore a realm previously dismissed by the academic community of Scotwold and the normal world. A realm kept in utmost secrecy by the descendants of Irish and Scottish settlers from past centuries to the present. They discover the indigenous tribes of the canyons, the Ubolozimbe, in this new realm; a people who have learned to tolerate the presence of settlers on their sacred lands. Brandon and Mira's romantic relationship flourishes as they explore the sparkling realm of Gomtrellia, even as time is swiftly passing in Scotwold. And the only link to their previous life is through a mysterious boy with clairvoyant vision and the image of the Great Gray Owl. Sylas Mervinstone returns in this book with a vastly altered appearance due to an elixir of youth which he keeps under lock and key. The Dragon Lord breaks his own well-established rules to accommodate the under-aged Craig Zutherlan, the only person who can make contact with Mira through barriers of light, time, and space between dimensional realms.
