I wanted to write this book to tell what it's like to face getting older in real time, says Eden, including both the fears and the pure joy that comes with aging's wisdom, sense of humor, and self-acceptance.
At eighty-five, Eden is a prime example of what is possible, as she continues to inspire students, travel three or four times a year, and write. She occasionally acts in local films and is a lively speaker who has many stories to tell from her colorful past and engaging present.
