Had it not been for the koth mar ajiki (light rainfall) that had now turned to be a torrential one, all the Professors and Doctors that were at Dr. Wasawo's home that weekend, would still be out in the verandah catching up with a host of topics from the latest or current trends in the various fields in Academia, Research Methods and Methodologies, Maendeleo (Personal Development) stories, family issues amongst other similar things.
It was true that over the years, due to its close proximity to the City Center or Town, Dr. Wasawo's posh homestead or residence (that was just a couple of minutes away from the famous Mamboleo Showground), was a favorite hangout spot for all the Dons at the University including their occasional visiting Professors and other faculty members.
As they scrambled to look for the most comfortable spot to sit on or affix themselves in the very large and welcoming Living Room of Dr. Wasawo's home, it was very much clear that the heated argument in the conversation between Dr. Osceli Dibongo and Dr. Oyundi concerning the best approach for the Development Projects in the region as well as the stemming out of Corruption, and the Allocation of Funds for them, was very far from being over.
