This work is part of a comparative analysis of the inadequacy of school, health and transport infrastructures in the communes of Kinkala and Kintele, located respectively in the Pool and Brazzaville departments. The main objective is to highlight the existing territorial imbalances and their consequences on the living conditions of the populations. Based on field surveys and quantitative and qualitative data, a number of significant dysfunctions were identified: overcrowding of schools, school migration, health deficits including delayed treatment, overcrowding of health centers, lack of equipment, as well as accessibility problems linked to the deteriorated state of the road network. The comparative approach revealed significant contrasts, notably between the relatively structured but inadequate school provision in Kintele and the general saturation of the system in Kinkala. Finally, the report suggests ways of reducing these imbalances, based on integrated territorial planning, improved local governance and sustained political will.
