Will Solomon be in Heaven?
Your answer to that question says more about your opinion of the wisest king of Israel than your ability to claim his eternal destiny, but generally, the opinions fall into one of two camps. Either Solomon was an unrepentant sinner who flushed away an entire kingdom, or he was a case study in realizing the futility of a life lived apart from God. Very few people fall somewhere in the middle.
His polarizing story is mostly due to misunderstanding of the man himself. Not only do we have several chapters of his history to read, but also three entire books of wisdom that are (mostly) penned by his hand.
