Kindness starts with you and me. The Kind Things We Do is an alliterative, heartwarming delight that teaches children the ABC's of kindness. It sparks the question: What kind things will you do? With playful illustrations and easy-to-follow examples, this book by Fay A. Grant is the perfect gift for little ones learning to create a caring environment for themselves and others. It's a whimsical adventure into an animal-packed world where being kind isn't undervalued, it's the norm.

Since 2023, 100% of the proceeds of this book supported charities doing kind things. The Kind Things We Do helped launch a preschool in rural Haiti in partnership with Impactful Missions, where the proceeds provided school supplies, uniforms and meals to the children and their families. In 2025, the proceeds funded a four-year scholarship for a young girl at a secondary school in Kenya, providing her with tuition, room and board.

About the Author: Since 2014, Fay A. Grant has partnered with nonprofits around the globe to support those in need. She is known for her philanthropic efforts in a variety of causes, including over a decade of work to support survivors of human trafficking and provide school lunches to children in need. Her heartfelt efforts have been recognized by Congress and the Smithsonian Institution. You can read her story in her recent interviews with Forbes and The TODAY Show.
