Killing a swan? is a story about a young man and his uncle. It is a story about friendship and love. Brian and his nephew Theo are going to an island to eat swans. In Copenhagen, Theo meets Marja. She doesn t think it s a good idea to eat swans. She gives Theo an ultimatum. After the story, there are three chapters about different aspects of the ultimatums as phenomenon. Both as communication and rhetoric.
