Drew Magness lives in the small town of Bright Sun, but thanks to the evil practices of Algernon Ethergrin, the owner of the corrupt Ruthworld Corporation, Drew has never actually seen a sunny day. Drew thinks his hometown will never be happy and peaceful, but then he begins to have magical dreams...or at least they seem like dreams.
In fact, when he sleeps, Drew is teleported to a small planet called Mazzle, a place full of odd buildings, bizarre creatures, and endless magic. Once there, he is told that he's been chosen to be a Healer, someone who uses magic to save the universe from evil. Drew must undergo rigorous training with other Healers, so that he can receive his magical powers, learn what it means to be a fighter-of-evil, and save Bright Sun from the horrible Algernon Ethergrin...but it won't be easy.
