A Key to Proportions of the Parthenon is a book written by Joseph Jopling in 1855. The book is a detailed analysis of the proportions of the Parthenon, an ancient Greek temple located in Athens. Jopling provides measurements and diagrams of the temple's columns, friezes, and pediments, as well as a discussion of the mathematical principles that underlie its design. The book is intended to be a guide for architects and artists who wish to understand the principles of classical design, and it has been influential in the study of ancient Greek architecture. Jopling's work is considered an important contribution to the field of architectural history and is still widely read and studied today. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
