The Key of Solomon the King, also known as Clavicula Salomonis, is a book of occult knowledge and magical practices attributed to the biblical King Solomon. This edition, translated and edited by S. L. MacGregor Mathers, includes detailed instructions for performing various rituals and spells, as well as diagrams and illustrations to aid in their execution. The book is divided into two parts, the first of which covers the summoning and binding of spirits, while the second delves into the creation of talismans and amulets for protection and other purposes. The Key of Solomon the King is considered a foundational text in the Western esoteric tradition, and its influence can be seen in the work of many later occultists and magicians.1888. The Key of Solomon is a celebrated magical work and is a necessary textbook for the student of occult science. This work is edited from several ancient manuscripts in the British Museum, which all differ from each other in various points.
