As the story unfolds, Joan finds herself caught between her desire for love and her mother's insistence on a marriage of convenience.Throughout the play, Hamilton uses witty dialogue and clever plot twists to keep the audience engaged. The play also touches on themes of social class, gender roles, and the pressures of societal expectations. In the end, Joan must decide whether to follow her heart or succumb to the pressures of those around her.
