Jonah is to many a popular children's story, and has been greatly used in that area. As the author has used it many a time to reach young people with the truth of God's Word. But it is more of a doctrinal masterpiece than may be realized. Though it is a Minor Prophet, it contains many major doctrines of the Bible, such as Salvation, and truth about the attributes of God.
