Dr. Dustin J.K. is the pen name of Dustin James Krein, EdD. He is a Tampa-based educator, researcher, musician, singer/songwriter with a passion for creativity, community engagement and education.
Originally from Northwest Arkansas, Dr. Dustin is a self-described Folk Rocker Scholar, blending practical skills with intellectual curiosity while maintaining an appreciation for common sense.
His experience in AmeriCorps at Joseph Pfeifer Kiwanis Camp in Little Rock, Arkansas is the foundation for his work in education and community engagement. The camp's mission of supporting disadvantaged youth through innovative partnerships and programming deeply influenced his own educational philosophy.
Jesus Was a Camper is his first children's book.
