The Journey began a little more than 15 years ago. I was facing confusion of what this life was about and needed some answers. My best friend who I had known for 21 years, committed suicide on November 18,1993. His death triggered emotions in me that needed somewhere to escape. I began to do that through writing poetry and lyrics. At first it seemed like an outlet but then it became an obsession. I was beginning to feel like I was hearing and seeing things in my mind. This book contains some of the first 100 poems I ever wrote. I've left them written in their raw and simple original form for the most part as a reminder of feeling the power that was behind some of these words. Welcome to the beginnings of The Journey
