Jo's Boys is a novel by Louisa May Alcott, which was published in 1886. It is the third and final book in the Little Women series, following Little Women and Good Wives. The story takes place ten years after the events of Good Wives and follows the lives of the March sisters' children, as well as the original characters from the first two books. The novel centers around Jo March, who is now married to Professor Bhaer and running a school for boys. The story focuses on the lives of the boys at the school, including Nat, Demi, and Tommy, as well as the March sisters' own children, including Rob, Teddy, and Bess.Throughout the book, the characters face a variety of challenges and obstacles, including illness, financial struggles, and personal conflicts. However, they also experience love, friendship, and personal growth as they navigate their way through life.Jo's Boys is a heartwarming and engaging novel that explores the themes of family, friendship, and personal growth. It is a must-read for fans of the Little Women series and anyone who enjoys classic literature. All nice and warm for a July day, but received with delight nevertheless. Ted and Josie immediately 'dressed up', learned the war-whoop, and proceeded to astonish their friends by a series of skirmishes about the house and grounds, with tomahawks and bows and arrows, till weariness produced a lull. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
