Into this comes Jon Smith, a man who fled and went off the grid ten years prior. In the new world, he and his son live a life of freedom along with two hundred or so other folk in the valley. It is a story of struggle, reunion, and conflict as the New Government finds that they cannot let Jon and his people remain free. It is a decision of whether to live a life of freedom and die or acquiesce.
