John, Son of Thunder is a new translation of the Gospel of John in the 2020 Bible Series. This text has been diligently compared with the text of the Pure Cambridge Edition of the 1611 King James Version Bible, other English translations and versions, scholarly commentary on the Greek text, and contemporary English usage and grammar. John, Son of Thunder contains insightful commentary, helpful notes on key words, historical setting, the Greek text, and references to other works. The editor is sound and conservative and has written in the best traditions of the King James Version Bible of 1611. Anthony Lyons is a Bachelor of Science in Education graduate of Oklahoma Christian College (University), Master of Science in Political Science graduate of Fort Hays State University, graduate of the U.
