A Christmas Picture and Storybook you'd love someone to read to you at bedtime - whether you're 5 or 25!

Jessica's Christmas Surprise - written by Nigella Awesome and colourfully illustrated, is the story about what happens one magical Christmas Eve when Jessica and her beautiful cuddly toy Catty, receive a visit from Father Christmas.

Worried that the log fire burning in the grate will harm Father Christmas, Jessica takes matters into her own hands and puts the fire out, resulting in her getting sent to bed early on Christmas Eve.

Jessica falls asleep worrying that Father Christmas won't bring her any presents because of what she has done. Later that night, when the house is quiet, Jessica wakes up, hearing noises and sees Father Christmas and his elves, in her room.

Santa Claus, as you also know him, takes Jessica on a wonderful skating journey to his home at the North Pole where she meets Harald the elf who has made her a very special Christmas surprise.

An amusing and wonderous Christmas story to make any child dream about Christmas even in the middle of July.

Part of the Grandad Stories Collection.
