God's peace didn't remove the battle; it transformed Gideon's heart in the middle of it. Peace isn't something you have but rather someone you know! Gideon's circumstances had not changed yet, but his confidence did. God promised His presence, strength, and direction long before any victory was visible.Throughout Scripture, Jehovah Shalom is seen as the God who quiets anxious hearts, restores what's broken, and brings order to chaos.
