Beautiful things take time... and so do dreams.
Ira wants everything right away. He wants giant sandcastles, exciting adventures, and all of his dreams to happen fast.
But when his sandcastle keeps falling apart, Ira becomes frustrated and ready to give up.
Thankfully, Grandad is there to help.
With the wisdom of a special pocket watch known as the Summertime Clock, Grandad teaches Ira an important lesson: the best things in life cannot be rushed. Like growing gardens, building friendships, and creating magnificent sandcastles, wonderful things take patience, practice, and time.
Set against the warmth of a sunny beach and filled with gentle life lessons, Ira and the Summertime Clock encourages children to slow down, stay present, and believe in their own journey.
This heartwarming picture book helps young readers learn:
- Patience and perseverance
- Confidence and resilience
- Time awareness and focus
- The value of hard work and practice
- The importance of enjoying each moment
Perfect for children ages 3-7, families, classrooms, and bedtime reading, Ira and the Summertime Clock is a meaningful story that reminds us all that beautiful things grow slowly-one moment at a time.
