Arthur was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when he was 2.5. At the time, he was almost completely nonverbal. Between the time of his diagnosis and when he turned three years old, Arthur had a bit of a wordsplosion and decided to try his hand at some impromptu poetry. His mother began to write down some of the little phrases and rhymes he created. These became known as Arthur's Poems. His mother collected nearly 100 of these poems (some are very silly while others are quite melodic and profound) and got in contact with an illustrator named Molly who was delighted to help bring his ideas to life. We hope you enjoy Arthur's way of seeing the world.
