When Tanya was five years old, she was introduced to her piggy bank - she was not old enough to spend money, but she was old enough to understand the purpose of the piggy bank. Are you nostalgic for the past? Are you yearning for stories that relive children's experiences in an era when life was not so hectic, and not consumed by the ever-present Facebook, smart phone, video game and WhatsApp messaging? Well, I. Catlin Benjamin's Inquisitive Minds...their story takes us back to that time as she revives the life experiences of herself and contemporaries growing up in Liberta and surrounding villages in Antigua and Barbuda. Inquisitive Minds...their story is a book of children's stories, 'The Piggy Bank, ' is one of many tales in this inspirational saga. Older folks will recognize themselves in the stories and swiftly embrace and accompany the author on her journey. The younger generation will be inspired and enlightened by the memories that shaped the lives of their parents and grandparents. Indeed, Inquisitive Minds...their story crosses national boundaries and readers in other Caribbean islands and far beyond will easily identify with this inspiring book. We all seek, even for the briefest of moments, a break from this maddening world of twenty-four/seven information and communications technology. Benjamin provides that respite in her book. 'their story' could well become our story.
