Infinite Hurrahs To Us Broken Things is about us succumbing to alcohol and drug abuse just to escape the quarter piece of reality. We were told that being in our twenties is the best time to find ourselves, but we are losing terribly. Our childhood is blurry, for we no longer remember things that made us happy and the only time we are allowed to be free is when we don't think or when we are asleep, and that too is either brief or foreign.

At the brink of despair, we still have to watch our dreams shrink into nothing and the only thing that shows us that burying our dreams is not that deep is burying our friends every weekend and still having no time to mourn them. We have arrived at an age where we now die a normal death and it's terrifying because we are so young and we know nothing, we haven't seen much and no one is teaching us anything anymore. No one is coming for us.

We learn every day from losing ourselves to every heartbreak, drowning in a job we hate and no longer celebrating birthdays that the only way to escape the full piece of reality or find rest is when we expire, but we still show up, and no, we are not dying tonight.

Trigger Warning: This book explores themes around mental health topics such as depression, anxiety, self-harm and suicide.
