Imagine the culture shock of giving up a secure managerial position, selling the house designed by you and built only seven years before and moving your family of two young children to the outback of West Wales in a borrowed ex-GPO truck converted into a horse box!
The nightmare journey owing to the condition and slowness of the old fully laden truck, plus a spectacular thunder and lightening storm, arriving after dark in the rain to a house with no water or electricity, was not the welcome to Wales they had anticipated.

Sue Thornton, who had not been employed for ten years as she was at home with the children, opted to look for work allowing husband Jim to make their new bungalow into a home before the winter set in. Her experience of city office life did not prepare her for the shock of her first job as a Farm Secretary which was swiftly followed by an even shorter spell as a store detective before the lively situation behind the reception desk of the local G.P's group practice.
They encountered some bizarre and often hilarious situations especially when they found themselves living within the infamous 'Broad Haven Triangle' where UFO' sightings became commonplace and the national media descended upon this remote rural area.
This book is based upon the true experiences during the first two years of the Wyatt family's life in West Wales but one aspect which shines throughout this story is their deep appreciation of the magical beauty of the Pembrokeshire coastline.
