In His Image is the first effort of an unpublished poet. It is about the created being, man, who is made in the image of the Supreme Being, spiritually. It is about man's helpmeet - woman. It is about reflections on the past, frustrations about the present, and illusions about the future. It is about religions and decisions; impressions and expressions; opinions and conclusions; diversions and projections - it is about directions - in which are you headed? In His Image is about man's habitat - the heavens and the earth that were created by the Great Creator. It is about creeping, crawling, swimming, swarming, and flying creatures that the Great Planner gave man to have dominion over. It is about vegetation, plants, and fruit trees yielding seed according to their kind. Finally, In His Image is about emotions - love, joy, happiness, contentment and others. It is said that a beautiful picture is worth a thousand words. I also believe that a thousand words - carefully chosen - can compose a beautiful picture - especially when the words are in the form of a poem. What happens when these two forms of expression are positioned side by side? I hope that you enjoy this work as much as we have enjoyed assembling it. Now, may the peace of God be yours and my you strive to be more like Him, for if you can read this, you truly are In His Image.
