In-Between Places to invite the reader to a table for two in order to discuss things which everyday adults are likely to recognize on sight and perhaps even see themselves in. Parenting, work, commuting, travel, growing up, growing old(er) and much more, readers will find comfort in knowing that they are not alone in trying to make sense of the strange world we all live in. Favoring down-to-Earth images and language, the poems often start in familiar surroundings - a kitchen table, an airport lounge, a commuter train - but may well end up in wilder places before the poems are done, be it to scratch the surface of meaning or be it to get a smile out of the reader. is an illustrated poetry collection. With an invitation extended from the very first page, the author seeks To enjoy In-Between Places, one doesn't need to love (or even like) poetry...just life.
