Angel Michaels wakes up the morning of her thirtieth birthday and realizes that she is having a party for one. She has lost her best friends, she doesn't have a significant other, and ongoing issues within her family continue to plague her. She hates her job, she hates her life, and thanks to an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, she decides to do something about it. Imperfect Angel tells the smart, humorous, and drama filled tale of a young woman with an attitude that won't quit and an opinion for everybody who isn't asking. Realizing that she is thirty and alone, she is absolutely determined to recreate her life, repair her relationships, and just be happy. And while that sounds simple enough, nothing for Angel ever is. She now has the task of understanding the under layers of her life; what role she plays in her own self-destruction and what she can do to fix it all - if fixing her life is even at all possible. With help from a person who unexpectedly enters her life at the exact right time, will Angel find a way to rebuild her life, open her heart, and find the peace she is yearning for?
