Doctors told us most of his muscles would weaken and, over time, stop working. We had so many questions: Will he be able to keep doing the things he loves? How quickly will the changes begin to take place? And, most importantly, how do we stay connected to him?
This is a true story about how my family and I learned to accept the struggles my grandfather experienced and how we were determined to find different ways to show our love.
