It was the first day of spring and the forest animals are busy with new and beautiful things to see and do. Except one little sparrow named Rue. She'd

rather hide all day and night. She said no to every opportunity that came her way. Her response was always the same. It's already been done before! she said. This short, rhyming tale does not label Rue's excuse for limiting herself, but addresses the fact many of us say no to experience for reasons such as self-doubt, comparison, or fear. Rue's story reveals a simple reason why we should try something new, despite the fact it has already been done before.
