As we experience life's wayward journey, is it a dire disaster or an exciting adventure? You decide.
In this story, Novice Author, Ron McCoy, reminisces about the situations and challenges that he encountered on the wayward journey of his lifetime. He recalls some of the episodes and escapades that were unusual, unpredictable, and uncontrollable; including some perverse behavior. He describes his early childhood growing up on a dairy farm and his later years of struggling with unhealthy relationships, disappointments, failures, pain, and sorrow; mostly as the result of alcoholism, which eventually brought him to his knees, where he came face to face with God. This spiritual awakening was like being born again. Now, with God's presence, his life becomes spiritually guided instead of emotionally driven. Following his journey, God opens doors of opportunities and miracles that take him and his family to heights of a happy, joyous, and free life.
Ron McCoy was born in the early 1940s in a small West Virginia town bordering the Ohio River. Today, Ron and his furry companion, Rascal, reside on the Ohio side of the river. Ron and his late wife Diane have one daughter, Mina. She and her husband, Jason, live in a city about two hours away. Ron and Diane traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad in business, ministry, and recreation. Today, Ron ministers to many groups of men and women who are in a recovery program for alcohol and drug addiction.
