L'idea era piuttosto quella di raccontare l'intera vicenda di Tricase Porto, raccogliendo fonti, testimonianze e racconti, spingendomi fino ai giorni nostri e includendo anche gli anni Duemila attraverso articoli giornalistici, impressioni, documenti e fotografie.
Ho voluto, soprattutto, rendere omaggio a una località spesso dimenticata dai grandi circuiti turistici eppure capace di conquistare al primo sguardo. Un luogo che, come il primo amore, continua a vivere nella memoria ben oltre il tempo dei ricordi e delle nostalgie. Alfredo De Giuseppe è nato a Tricase nel 1958.
