Tatuatore da Zero nasce per rispondere a questa domanda.
Non è una raccolta di trucchi.
Non ti promette di trasformarti in tatuatore professionista dopo aver letto un libro.
Ti insegna qualcosa di molto più utile:
capire che cosa devi imparare, in quale ordine e come riconoscere se stai davvero migliorando.
Partirai dalle fondamenta: disegno, composizione, progettazione sul corpo e scelta delle reference.
Poi entrerai nella parte tecnica: macchine, stroke, aghi, cartucce, setup, linee, riempimenti, sfumature, stencil e diagnosi degli errori.
Ma il tatuaggio non finisce quando impari a controllare una macchina.
Per questo il percorso continua con ciò che spesso viene lasciato fuori dai manuali:
- sicurezza, contaminazione e organizzazione della postazione;
- materiali, tracciabilità e inchiostri;
- pratica progressiva su supporti sintetici;
- formazione e apprendistato;
- rapporto con il cliente e consulenza;
- consenso, privacy e documentazione;
- prezzi, costi e organizzazione dello studio;
- portfolio, stile e reputazione;
- gestione della bottega;
- postura, salute e sostenibilità della carriera.
Il filo che tiene insieme tutto è il Metodo del Criterio:
VEDERE → CAPIRE → PREPARARE → ESEGUIRE → VALUTARE → DIAGNOSTICARE → CORREGGERE → RIPETERE → DECIDERE.
Perché il problema del principiante non è soltanto non sapere.
È non sapere ancora distinguere un consiglio utile da una regola inventata, un errore della mano da un problema dello strumento, un risultato riuscito da una competenza realmente acquisita.
Questo libro vuole insegnarti proprio questo.
A ragionare.
A verificare.
A esercitarti senza usare la pelle di una persona come laboratorio.
A riconoscere ciò che sai fare e, soprattutto, ciò che non sei ancora pronto a fare. Il manoscritto mantiene infatti una separazione netta tra esercitazione su supporti sicuri e pratica professionale su persone.
Se vuoi soltanto qualche impostazione da copiare, questo libro probabilmente non fa per te.
