Imparerai a progettare e amministrare un'infrastruttura basata su Proxmox VE 9: creare VM KVM e container LXC adatti al carico, assegnare risorse con criterio, separare ruoli e scegliere storage, rete e backup in funzione dei rischi reali. Al termine potrai costruire servizi self-hosted, ambienti di test e piccole piattaforme operative con configurazioni leggibili e verificabili.
È pensato per appassionati di homelab, sviluppatori, tecnici IT e sistemisti junior o intermediate che possiedono già le basi di Linux e reti TCP/IP, ma vogliono passare dall'esperimento occasionale a una gestione più disciplinata. Imparerai a distinguere VM e LXC, usare bridge e VLAN senza perdere la gestione del nodo, valutare LVM-thin, ZFS e storage di rete, controllare CPU, memoria e I/O, e creare template ripetibili con cloud-init.
Il percorso mette al centro ciò che serve quando qualcosa va storto: snapshot usati con una scadenza, backup esterni, restore isolati, Proxmox Backup Server, retention, cluster, quorum, migrazione, alta disponibilità e disaster recovery con RPO e RTO realistici. Ogni scelta viene collegata a controlli osservabili, limiti dichiarati e procedure di rollback. Un approccio pratico per costruire meno complessità inutile, proteggere meglio i dati e amministrare l'infrastruttura con maggiore sicurezza operativa.
