L'autore propone una visione unificata dell'esistenza: Materia = Energia = Informazione. Tre volti della stessa sostanza, tre stati di un'unica realtà che si auto-organizza e si evolve.
Tra i temi affrontati:- L'archeologia dell'errore: come il bisogno di consolazione ha generato il mito dell'anima immateriale.
- La vulnerabilità come prova scientifica: perché un caffè, un trauma cranico o una molecola di LSD possono modificare ciò che chiamiamo essenza.
- Il Filtro di Dio: la Default Mode Network come generatrice dell'illusione dell'Ego e della separazione.
- La verità sulle NDE: il tunnel di luce come fenomeno neurofisiologico, non metafisico.
- Il futuro post-biologico: se siamo pattern di informazione, allora siamo trasferibili. Il mind uploading non è eresia, ma evoluzione.
Questa opera non offre consolazioni facili. Non promette paradisi, reincarnazioni o salvezze ultraterrene. Propone invece una spiritualità nuova, fondata sulla comprensione profonda della materia e delle sue possibilità .
