Cari lettori,
Come madre e accademica di scienze sociali sull'infanzia, ho spesso osservato come i bambini vengano etichettati in tanti modi - timidi, troppo energici, distratti o semplicemente diversi. Queste esperienze mi hanno spinta a scrivere una storia sull'importanza di accogliere la propria unicità e di vedere le differenze come una ricchezza, non come qualcosa da correggere. Invece di rappresentare la diversità attraverso un personaggio bambino, ho scelto di farlo tramite un simbolo riconosciuto e ammirato in tutto il mondo: la Torre di Pisa. Attraverso questa scelta, desideravo offrire ai bambini un modo di riflettere sulla diversità , non come qualcosa che li riguarda individualmente, ma come parte del paesaggio umano e culturale che condividiamo tutti. Il libro è pubblicato in diverse lingue e disponibile su Amazon per un'esperienza di lettura multilingue e multiculturale. È pensato per le famiglie bilingui o multilingui che amano leggere la stessa storia in lingue diverse, imparando insieme nuove parole, suoni e prospettive culturali.
