Il gusto di vivere in un Wonderland

Tastierista e leader dei Rockets
Una vita da Rockets mi ha plasmato e fatto concentrare
sulla vita nello Spazio, su altri pianeti, altre galassie
lontane. Quindi, immaginare un futuro diverso, magari
migliore, sconosciuto.
Oggi, dopo tante riflessioni e la piena consapevolezza
della follia umana e del disprezzo che l'uomo esercita
verso se stesso e chi gli sta intorno, la mia anima da
Rockets mi ha fatto fare una svolta di percorso:
immaginare il nostro futuro ma qui, su questo posto
incantevole chiamato Terra!
La musica mi permette di viaggiare lontano, molto
lontano, veloce, molto veloce, il tutto senza limiti di
distanza, senza limiti di tempo.
Ho quindi fatto una scommessa impegnativa: dare in
mano ai bambini il futuro e il destino del nostro pianeta.
Credo che soltanto grazie ad una forte presa di coscienza,
questi bambini di oggi, che saranno gli adulti di domani,
potranno far sì che la Terra torni ad essere quella che è
stata, tanto tempo fa. Questa è una bella scommessa sulle
generazioni future...
Mi viene spesso in mente una bellissima intervista di
Luca Parmitano, grande astronauta di origini siciliane
che ha detto ...Se i potenti del mondo venissero con me
nello Spazio, guardando la Terra, farebbero
immediatamente marcia indietro per quanto riguarda le
disposizioni da adottare sul clima e sull'ambiente.
Sulle scorte di questo, ho composto un brano
strumentale dal titolo evocativo: Nuclear Fallout.
Titolo da brivido nel quale un tema che si ripete,
evolvendosi, alla Bolero di Ravel, racconta le
conseguenze della ricaduta radioattiva di una esplosione
nucleare dovuta ad un esperimento andato male.
Quando si parla di arma di distruzione di massa, non si
menziona mai l'arma peggiore e più potente: l'uomo!
L'unico essere vivente che si autodistrugge.
La musica, certo, non potrà risolvere questi problemi, ma
potrà aiutare facendoci riflettere.
La Scienza dovrebbe migliorare e non distruggere.
Dobbiamo e POSSIAMO cambiare.
Ne va del nostro futuro. Non dimentichiamoci di una
cosa: il pianeta, anche se malato, si adeguerà sempre.
L'uomo no. E sparirà .
Teniamoci stretto il nostro WONDERLAND.
