The hospital dedicated to the Virgin Mary Annunziata of Figline Valdarno (Florence), better known as Serristori Hospital, was founded in 1399 by one of the priors of the Florentine Republic, Ser Ristoro di Ser Jacopo. The Villa of San Cerbone, where the clinic was moved in 1890, preserves a rich artistic heritage - paintings, sculptures, precious religious furnishings, as well as books and medical instruments - which makes this structure one of the most interesting destinations for health history of the region.
