The beast of Detective Alvarone's past rears its ugly face once more as those involved with the Greenwood incident begin falling prey to something fiery, destructive, and craving to dig its claws into its own echoes.

Tavid teams up with the younger detective, Gilbert Matthews when he realizes his instinct to run over-rules the need to complete the case on his own. The strike of flint and steel echoing in his ears as he rolls with the burning strikes of unpacking the baggage after the case is officially closed.
