As Sean adapts to the rhythms of the island, he becomes both a participant in and a witness to Finn's quiet defiance of the law.
Through first love, faith, and an unexpected sense of belonging, Sean's presence begins to expose the hidden emotional cost of his uncle's choices. When Prohibition finally becomes the law of the land, the stakes shift from simple survival to a deeper moral crisis; Finn is forced to reckon not only with the collapse of his business, but with the weight of being the only man the boy has left to look up to.
