Is Preparedness For War Unchristian? is a book written by Len Gaston Broughton in 1916. The book explores the question of whether Christians should support the idea of preparing for war or not. Broughton argues that Christians should not support war, but at the same time, they should not be unprepared for it either. He believes that Christians should strive for peace and work towards preventing war, but if war becomes inevitable, then they should be ready to defend themselves. The book provides a historical perspective on the issue of war and Christianity, examining various biblical passages and the teachings of early Christian leaders. Broughton also discusses the practical aspects of preparedness for war, including military training and the role of the state. Overall, Is Preparedness For War Unchristian? is a thought-provoking book that challenges readers to consider their beliefs about war and the role of Christians in promoting peace. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
