Augustus Louis Petti was born on a ship sailing from his native Italy to the United States. He was named Augustus after the ship. He was mistaken for the Lindbergh baby. What else could happen to this man? Nothing spectacular happened, mind you, but, enough to make you sit up and wonder. His life was ordinary, and yet, it became quite extraordinary. Adding up all the bits of his life projected an image of greater proportion than expected. He is grateful to his Lord for a life of happiness and contentment. Amen.
