Into Terror is a roleplaying game of demonic horror survival. In the game, players take on the roles of normal everyday teenagers or college students who have been dragged into a world of hidden demonic horror--lurking just beneath the surface of our own world. Quickly, these characters become entwined with evil and are forced to become hunters of the night and defenders of the light . . . if they can only survive the terrors waiting for them in the darkness. Into Terror uses the Micro Chapbook RPG system--an ultra-simple roleplaying game system that can be played solo or with a traditional GM if you so wish. It is also the first rulebook in the VHS line of horror-themed gamebooks for the system inspired by horror movies from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Other books in the VHS line will focus on different sub-genres of horror. The main game focuses on solitaire gameplay, where you play a single teenager or college student fighting against the demonic forces of hell. It uses randomly generated game scenarios to make each game session a little different. TThis book also includes a premade adventure module to get you started. Future VHS core books will expand on the game and give you a more detailed world of terror to explore. The universe for this game is brutal, unforgiving, and dark. You are a normal human hunting down and killing demons hiding in your own world. Expect to die and die often.
