In this interview MAJ Schreiber discusses his experiences as part of a military transition team (MiTT) training and advising the Iraqi Army from 2005 until 2006. MAJ Schreiber describes daily life working with the Iraqis and the unique challenges that he and his team faced while working with them for a year. MAJ Schreiber concludes his interview by stating that in order to make the training and assist mission more valuable the Army should make sure they are sending the appropriate people along with adequate training and resources to support the mission.
