Internal Circus is a four-part journey through the surreal, emotional, and metaphysical landscapes of the human mind. Written in concentrated bursts of micro-prose poetry, the collection blends humour, dream logic, and philosophical reflection into a shifting tapestry of inner experience. Shadows quit their jobs, cows confess their caffeine-fueled misadventures, numerology walks into the room wearing sunglasses, and silence reveals its secret name. These playful, absurdist moments give way to deeper meditations on memory, mortality, longing, and the fragile architecture of the self.
The book opens with linguistic play and conceptual wit before descending into the unpredictable carnival of the subconscious - the internal circus where imagination, contradiction, and emotional truth collide. From there, the poems move into metaphysical territory, exploring the thresholds between presence and absence, sound and silence, life and its echoes. The final section widens the lens to cosmic scale, contemplating endings, transformations, and the quiet music of the universe.
Throughout the collection, the author's distinctive voice merges clarity with mystery, humour with ache, and brevity with resonance. Each piece stands alone yet contributes to a larger arc: a movement from the playful surface of language into the deeper waters of being. Internal Circus invites readers to wander through the strange, luminous corridors of the psyche - a place where the absurd becomes meaningful, the metaphysical becomes intimate, and the smallest moments reveal entire worlds.
